The Provincial Farmer Association organizes the camping festival

From April 22 to 23, the Tien Giang provincial Farmer Association organized the camping festival on the returning to the roots at Ba Rai Victory Monument (Cam Son commune, Cai Lay district). Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of Vietnam Farmer Association Nguyen Hong Ly attended this event.

The camping festival had the participation of 200 campers as memmber of the Farmer Association from 11 districts, towns and city in the province with the theme of "Promoting Farmer Association’s tradition deserves to be the core of the peasant movement and the task of building new rural".

The program had many meaningful activities such as: "Farmer with traffic safety week" march, free medical examination and treatment for 200 poor members of the Farmer Association in Cam Son, Hoi Xuan, Long Khanh communes (Cai Lay district), presenting 30 gifts to policy families, organizing workshop on climate change to response in association with restructuring of the provincial agriculture sector, giving farmers shelters for retired officers, etc...
