Training the 2017 economic census

On April 20, the Provincial Statistics Office organized the training to collect questionnaire information for more than 145 provincial administrative units. At the training, units were instructed to provide the information recorded in the questionnaire in accordance with regulation.

The 2017 economic census is a biennial census conducted by the Prime Minister on a nationwide. The census is conducted in two phases:

Stage 1: Collecting information on production and business establishments of the enterprise, branches and representative offices of foreign enterprises, administrative agencies, the Party, unions, associations and non-business units, a foreign non-governmental organization licensed to operate in Vietnam, subsidiaries of the above organizations. Time to collect information from March 1 to May 30, 2017.

Stage 2: Collecting information on the basis of religion and belief, non-agricultural, forestry and fishery enterprises. Time to gather information from July 1-7, 2017.
