95 "For studious students" scholarships awarded

On October 24, the Tien Giang province Study Encouragement Association in coordination with Viettel Tien Giang - Branch of Military Telecommunication Union, Tien Giang Department of Education and Training awarded scholarship to studious students of Go Cong Dong district, Tan Phu Dong district and Go Cong town.

There were 95 studens received this scholarship including 11 communes such as Gia Thuan commune, Kieng Phuoc commune, Phuoc Trung commune, Go Cong Dong district (20 scholarships); Binh Dong commune, Binh Xuan commune, Go Cong town (20 scholarships) and 6 communes of Tan Phu Dong district (55 scholarships). The total cost was VND95 million dong.

The "For studious students" program is part of a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the Viettel Army and the Ministry of Education and Training. The program will award scholarships to poor studens in poor communes under the Program 135 and 311, especially difficult communes in coastal areas. Each scholarship worth of VND1 million includes VND500,000 in cash and gifts for students according to the age group.
