Head of Information Technology Department under the Department of Information and Communications Nguyen Van Dam introduced details to students of the positive aspects of online public service.

Accordingly, the use of online public service has many advantages, contributing to accelerate administrative reform, ensuring the communication, publicity and transparency information in the process of settling procedures.

After only a few operations on a computer or mobile device connected to the Internet, records have been sent to the authorities. Implementing the application of online public service will shorten processing time, reduce paperwork as well as travel time, save cost for people and businesses.

At the propaganda, students were instructed in detail the activities of registration of public service, the practice of some online public services on the phone connected to the Internet. Nguyen The Anh, a student of Tien Giang University, shared: Through the propaganda session, we knew specifically about the benefits of using online public services. In the past, the paperwork was very complicated, but now it has become much simpler as well as open and transparent.

In the e-government propaganda for students in the province, the Tien Giang Department of Information and Communications is expected to organize 6 propaganda sessions.

In fact, in the past, online public services have been implemented in districts, towns and cities in the province. Although the model has proven to be superior, the number of people and organizations involved in the use of online public services is limited. Therefore, students are expected to be the bridge, the propagator to bring more online public services information closer to the people.
