The above results showed that the number of laborers worked in the country in the period from 2011 to 2016 was only 66.88% compared to the period from 2004 to 2010. The market also had a clear shift. In the period from 2004 to 2010, the focus was mainly on the labor market in Malaysia, accounting for 69.6% of the total number of laborers in the province worked abroad during this period, with 870 laborers. In the period from 2011 - 2016, the Japanese labor market accounted for 71.41% of the total number of laborers in the province to work overseas in this period, with 597/836 workers.

The reason was the unstable labor market in Malaysia and low income so it was not attractive to employees. Meanwhile, the Japanese labor market has grown sharply because the Japanese government adjusted the policy of receiving foreign workers and a relatively high income.

Provincial laborers went to work abroad for a definite period of time in the forms such as: Through labor export service enterprises (1,783 laborers); under the non-profit program agreement between the Government of Vietnam and countries (300 labors); under the individual contract (3 labors).

However, from 2012 up to now, Tien Giang province had 138 laborers working in Korea need to mobilize to return home. The provincial authorities have carried out propaganda and advocacy measures so that there wrere 85 laborers in the Republic of Korea returned home.

Based on the situation of the overseas labor market and the demand for working abroad, the province has set up targets to send laborers to work overseas for a period of time from 2016 to 2020 as 150 labors per year.

To support the creation of the source, the Job Service Center (under the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) will coordinate with the labor export service enterprises to organize direct preliminaries of labor in the locality. In addition, the center also regularly launches training courses on knowledge and behavior for employees before interviewing. At the same time, the centrer will sign a contract with 350 contributors to introduce laborers wishing to work abroad for a certain period of time in the districts, towns and cities.
