About 11.031 people covered by unemployment benefits in first nine months

ABO - According to the Tien Giang Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, in the first nine months of the year, the situation of labor - employment was stable, less fluctuated; the consultancy and job introduction continued to be implemented regularly every month.

There were a total of 11,031 / 11,340 unemployed persons were covered by unemployment benefits with a total payment of over VND 131.7 billion; recovering unemployment benefits of 328 laborers who were employed during the time of covering unemployment benefit but did not declare for more than VND 1.1 billion VND.

Besides, the work of sending laborers to work in foreign countries under the contract has been improved; there were 151 workers on exile reached 100.7% of the year plan, up 22.8% over the same period.

In the coming time, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs will prepare a conference to send laborers to work abroad for a definite time; to propagate and mobilize laborers at Korea to come back on time; to supervise, inspect and test the results of survey and data collection of labor supply and demand in 2018.
