The Provincial People's Council surveys tourism sites at the My Tho city

ABO - On September 14, the Tien Giang provincial People's Council of Tien Giang province, led by Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Sang, surveyed many tourism sites at the My Tho city.

The delegation surveyed the site for construction of the land reception zone at Thoi Son islet with an area of over 8,000 m². The project is in the process of handing over the ground to the investor in early 2019. The delegation visited the Island Lodge resort in Thoi Binh hamlet, Thoi Son commune. This is a high-class resort, which will be operational from 2015, with an area of over 5000 m². Besides visiting the activity items, the delegation also learnt about the characteristics, potential development of tourism here.

The delegation also visited the area of orchard tourism, rowing boats, etc ... invested by Nguyen Van An's family with an area of 3 hectares. The delegation also visited the Cuu Long hotel restaurant, relaxing place, drinking coffee on the high view of the My Tho city and the Tien River.

Actual survey activities in tourist destinations in the My Tho city will be the basis for the survey team to assess the actual situation of tourism, especially the implementation of the Resolution No. 54 of the Provincial People's Council associated with the implementation of the Resolution No. 11 Provincial Party Committee on the development of tourism. On the basis, the Provincial People’s Council will many proposals, solutions to help management activities, tourism development in the My Tho city in particular and the Tien Giang province in general more better in the coming time.
