To clear the houses encroached on the corridor of the Highway 50

ABO -  On November 26, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong inspected traffic safety, food hygiene and safety in some districts.

In Cho Gao district, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong with leaders of related departments and agencies inspected the safety corridor of Highway 50 at Binh Phan bridge section in Thanh Khiet hamlet, An Thanh Thuy commune, Cho Gao district.

At present, 32 households violated the road corridor. Of that, from 2011 to 2017, there were 17 households violating, so far arising 15 households. Initially, the functional force has fined the violated households with the highest level as 3 million but so far the households have not moved.

Chairman of the PPC directed Cho Gao district People’s Committee and related units to extend the layer of embankment of Highway 50 in the above section. In addition, the corridor will be lowered to provide a drainage system; especially to clear, relocate all constructors encroached on road safety corridors.

 

At the same time, to mobilize the functional forces to clear and strictly handle all cases of plant substances, construction materials and vehicles, etc... encroached on traffic safety corridors so as to ensure the safety of means when circulating through the locality.

After the actual survey, Chairman of the PPC asked the local authorities and the market management board to continue to strengthen inspection and supervision of food hygiene and safety for all commodities in the market, shielding system, exit water, sanitary stalls, trading places and market premises to ensure food safety for consumers.
