Tien Giang Association of fellow-countrymen in Ho Chi Minh city gathers

ABO - On February 21, Tien Giang Association of fellow-countrymen in Ho Chi Minh city and leaders of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) has just gathered at Ho Chi Minh city.

Attending the meeting were former Party Central Committee Secretary and former Vice President Truong My Hoa; former Member of the Party Central Committee, former Chairman of the Committee for Social Affairs of the National Assembly, Head of Tien Giang Countrymen Contact Committee in Ho Chi Minh city Nguyen Thi Hoai Thu; former Member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Ngoc; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Party Committee for Propaganda and Education Chau Thi My Phuong; Deputy Chairman of PPC Tran Thanh Duc; together with leaders of departments, agencies, provincial unions and districts, cities and towns in the province.

At the meeting, Head of the Tien Giang Association of fellow-countrymen in Ho Chi Minh city Nguyen Thi Hoai Thu reported the results of the association. In 2018, Tien Giang Association of fellow-countrymen in Ho Chi Minh city always showed the role of bridge between Tien Giang province with countryman living in Ho Chi Minh city in plenty of activities linked towards homeland including many activities as encourage study and talent, social welfare caring, etc…

On behalf of provincial leaders, Deputy Chairman of the PPC Tran Thanh Duc reported summary of Tien Giang’s the situation of socioeconomic development in 2018. He also thanked for many mental and physical contributions for Tien Giang province in the past time and wished countryman living in Ho Chi Minh City merry new year with full of success in life.
