Visiting and presenting Tet gifts to cadres, soldiers and people of Nam Du archipelago

ABO – On January 8, the High Command of Naval Zone 5 with leaders of the provinces and cities in the South visited and presenting Tet gifts to cadres, soldiers and people on Nam Du archipelago (Kien Hai district, Kien Giang province).

Colonel Vo Duc Tien, Deputy Commander of High Command of Naval Zone 5 presented Tet gifts to officers, soldiers of the Radar 600 station, the Border Station 742 and the Party Committee, government and people of An Son commune.

The delegation transferred gifts to Station Radar 600 (under the Naval Zone 5), the Border Station 742 (under the Border Guard of Kien Giang Province), Nam Du lighthouse Station (under Ministry of Transport - Transportation), the Party Committee, government and people of An Son commune (Kien Hai district) on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2019.

Nam Du is an archipelago with very favorable natural conditions, such as Ha Long Bay in the Southwest Sea of the country. The economic, cultural and social life of the people here is fairly developed, the infrastructure facilities on the island are being invested and built with the wharf system, roads around the island, schools, clinics, etc …
