Chairman of the PPC surveys the progress of flood control projects

ABO - Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) and leader of the Tien Giang province Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, leader of Cai Lay District surveyed Hai Hue and Ba Gon sewer works (in the area of Xuan Quang Hamlet, Hoi Xuan Commune), on March 5.

These two projects belonging to the subproject "To control and reduce flood risks in Ba Rai - Phu An area" of the RETA project was implemented by the Tien Giang province Department of Agriculture and Rural Development from October 1, 2017. After a long time of construction, however, the construction progress of the works has been currently only from 70% to 80% of the volume, causing difficulties in the circulation and transport of goods of people.

Noting the recommendations of the local people, at the survey, Chairman of the PPC instructed the Tien Giang province Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to check the implementation situation and the contractor to speed up the progress to complete the works in April 2019, ensuring production and life’s activities of people.
