Tien Giang province launched the Worker's Month 2019

ABO – On May 6, the Tien Giang province Labor Confederation organized the launching ceremony of the worker month and the contest for labor safety, hygiene-fire prevention 2019.

This event saw an attendance of Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee for Action month for labor safety, hygiene; Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Sang; Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Nghia, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Action month for labor safety, hygiene and more than 600 workers, officials, employees of 92 teams, representatives of units, enterprises in the province participate.

The launching ceremony of the Worker’s Month, the annual Action month for labor safety, hygiene is an indispensable important activity in order to enhance the awareness and behavior of each organization and individual to the public about the work of safety, hygiene as well as a command to urge each trade union official, party committee leader, authorities at all levels, agencies, enterprises and the whole society to join hands to care take care of the life of workers and employees.

Tien Giang province has more than 146,600 workers and employees working in agencies, units and enterprises of all economic sectors.

In the past years, the work of caring and improving working conditions, protecting the environment, preventing labor accidents, occupational diseases and health care for employees has been implemented more better. The life, income and job of employees are increasingly stable and constantly improving quality.

Particularly, the contest for labor safety, hygiene-fire prevention is organized annually, through 19 times of organization, the contest has achieved many encouraging results, creating conditions for localities and industries, agencies and enterprises to have more knowledge and experience to better implement occupational safety and hygiene, fire and explosion prevention and fighting at units.
