At the ceremony, Director of Tien Giang province Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Minh Tri emphasized: The month of action for children 2019 to enhance communication to raise awareness and responsibilities of enterprises and organizations effectively implemented more than policies and programs to ensure that children have comprehensive development, better implementation of children's rights, especially poor children and children with especially difficult circumstances; mobilizing the social to participate in reducing the gap in development opportunities and access to health care, education, protection, child care, clean water and social welfare services for children in remote areas, etc…

This year's month of action for children 2019 takes place from June 1 to June 30 under the theme "Joining hands for poor and ethnic minority children”. On this occasion, 160 students with difficult circumstances studying well in the province received 60 bicycles and 100 scholarships, with a total value of 190 million VND. In addition, Nguyen Thi Nguyet (in Thu Duc district, Ho Chi Minh city) donated 3,200 notebooks to poor students.
