16,165 laborers consulted job in the first eight months

ABO - According to the Tien Giang province People’s Committee, in the first eight months of 2019, there were 16,165 laborers were consulted job including 2,662 laborers in August. There were 748 laborers got job; in which 212 laborers got stable jobs, 193 laborers were consulted for working abroad under contract.

Besides, from the beginning this year until now, the province helped over 10,260 laid-off workers to receive unemployment benefits with a total payment of over 142.8 billion VND.

In the coming time, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs will continue to provide consultancy and guidance on the implementation of labor legislation to laborers and employers; to regularly coordinate with the propagation and dissemination of labor legislation; to organize employment sessions, career counseling, vocational education enrollment in 2019 at colleges and secondary schools.
