Over 25.125 billion VND contributed to the Fund for the Poor in 2019

ABO – According to the Tien Giang provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, in 2019, organizations and individuals inside and outside Tien Giang province actively contributed on the Fund for the Poor with the total of 25,125 billion VND (an increase of 5.02% compared to 2018) and other the social security program as 92,455 billion VND (up 6.12% compared to 2018).

From the mobilized fund, the campaign committee of the Fund for the Poor at various levels in Tien Giang province has carried out many jobs such as building 8 gratitude houses, 627 great unity houses for policy families and poor households with a total of 21,71 billion VND; mobilizing medical examination and treatment and providing free medicine for 269 poor households with a total with 60.48 million VND; awarding scholarships to 534 poor pupils and students who overcome difficulties to study well with a total with 193,38 million VND, etc...
