Meanwhile, the second and third spaces showcase 13 typical architectural buildings in Hai Phong, such as cultural buildings, housing projects, and industrial complexes, which were constructed between the end of the 19th and early 20th centuries.

According to Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Tho, the city has many French-styled architectural buildings, such as the city’s Opera House, Post Office, Railway Station, and the headquarters of the city’s People’s Committee.

These buildings are not only valuable assets contributing to the appearance of Hai Phong City but also bring about great advantages for the city to develop tourism, he stressed.

The week-long event is jointly held by the city’s People’s Committee and the French Embassy in Vietnam to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam – France diplomatic ties (1973 - 2023) and the 10th anniversary of their strategic partnership (2013-2023).
