Vietnam hopes Qatar, Persian Gulf states resume dialogues

Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang has clarified Vietnam’s reaction to the diplomatic tension between Qatar and some Persian Gulf states, saying that Vietnam hopes all parties will set up dialogue soon to seek measures to ensure interests of all sides for the benefit of people in countries, contributing to peace and stability in the region.

Hang made the statement on June 9 in response to reporters’ questions on the matter.

She also noted that Vietnam shares sound relations with Middle East countries and members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in particular.
