Congratulations sent to Party on its 89th founding anniversary

ABO/NDO – The Central Committees of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) have sent separate congratulatory messages to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) on the occasion of its 89th founding anniversary, which falls on February 3 (1903-2019).

The congratulatory message from the LPRP Central Committee wrote: the Lao Party and people are happy and appreciate the great and comprehensive achievements with historical significance that the Vietnamese people have won in the past 89 years under the leadership of the CPV, especially the comprehensive achievements in Vietnam's Doi Moi (renovation) to bring about high and continuous economic and political stability, helping to improve the people's lives, lifting foreign relations and promoting the role and position of Vietnam in the international arena.

The Lao Party, State and people firmly believe that, under the wise leadership of the CPV led by General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong, the people of Vietnam will continue to gain new and bigger victories in the renovation, soon making Vietnam a modern industrial country and achieving the goal of prosperous people and a strong, democratic, fair and civilised nation.

 

The LPRP and the CPV are two parties with the same origin from the Indochinese Communist Party, and the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States and peoples have been established and nurtured by the senior leaders of the two Parties, as well as being promoted deeply in all fields, bringing practical benefits to the two countries.

 

Meanwhile, the congratulatory message from the CPP Central Committee wrote: the CPP warmly congratulates and appreciates the great achievements that the Vietnamese Party, State and people have achieved in socio-economic development and the implementation of its Doi Moi policy, making Vietnam grow in all fields, improving the life of the Vietnamese people and promoting the position of Vietnam in the international arena.

 

The CPP highly appreciates the development of solidarity, traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, States and peoples of Cambodia and Vietnam, determined to continue strengthening and promoting the relationship more sustainably under the motto of "good neighbourliness, traditional friendship and comprehensive, sustainable and long-term cooperation."

 

The CPP firmly believes that under the proper and wise leadership of the CPV led by General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong, the Vietnamese people would continue to grasp new, greater achievements in the renovation process and successfully implement the 12th National Party Congress’s Resolution.

 

On the same day, Sounthone Sayachac, LPRP Central Committee member and Head of the LPRP’s External Affairs Commission, sent a congratulatory message to Hoang Binh Quan, CPV Central Committee member and Head of the CPV Central Committee's Commission on External Relations.
