Viet Nam, Philippines ink agreement on special policy to rice

The Government has issued a resolution on signing an agreement with the Philippines on extending the special policy to rice in the framework of the World Trade Organization’s Marrakesh Agreement.

The Government approved the agreement’s content and authorized Minister of Industry and Trade (MOIT) Vu Huy Hoang to sign the agreement on behalf of the Government.

The MOIT was also asked to work with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Viet Nam Food Association to implement the agreement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was assigned to complete related diplomatic procedures as regulated.
