The General Department of Vietnam Customs and the British Embassy in Vietnam were the signatories on the document detailing the six-month project, which aims to help review legal documents relating to trade facilitation in the country and organise a conference for drafting a Government proposal on the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement in Vietnam.
The agreement aims to reduce red-tape in cross-border trade by simplifying the customs and border procedures of WTO members.
