Tien Giang earns VND3,094 million from tourism in 10 months

According to Tien Giang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang posted a tourism revenue of VND3,094 million in the first 10 months of 2014, up 8.6 percent compared to the same period last year.

In the period, the province welcomed 1.17 thousand visitors, up 7.3 percent compared to the same period last year.

Especially, during September, the province welcomed 108.7 visitors, including 34,000 international visitors, up 15.1 percent compared to the same period last year.

The province has focused on trengthening the call sector investment in the development of tourism projects, attracting idle capital among people, promoting tourism socialization are many solution focussed.

Many called investment projects such as The reception road trip area project on Thoi Son islet; hastening the expansion of roads to the area of Dong Thap Muoi eco-tourism area and Truc Lam Zen monastery in Tan Phuoc district; Tan Thanh eco-tourism sea zone... etc.
