The decision came from the US International Trade Commission after the US Department of Commerce said the revocation of the anti-dumping duty order could lead to the continuation or recurrence of underselling by up to 63.88 percent in the US market, Vietnamese trade authorities said.
The US Department of Commerce will re-calculate the duties for affected Vietnamese exporters every year, Vietnamese authorities said.
Vietnam shipped US$240 million worth of frozen tra and basa fillets into the US, Vietnam’s second-largest import market after Europe, during the first nine months of this year, official figures show.
This represented a 17 percent decrease in value compared to the same period last year.
