Vice Chairman the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Nghia works with businesses

Vice Chairman the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Nghia and leaders of some deparments has just visited and worked with My Tho Port jont stock Co. and Thuan Phong Co., Ltd in My Tho Industrial Zone.

My Tho Port jont stock Co. in national seaport system is allowed to receive foreign ships, foreign guests with business mainly including: Loading and unloading of goods; ship chandlers; freighting by sea and land; shipping agency and brokers, counting forwarding, customs brokerage, supply ships, ocean towage.
My Tho Port jont stock Co. is currently disposing an expanded wharf to receive passenger ship of My Tho - Phnom Penh (average 24 trips/ month) and to load and unload containers. The wharf of the center port uses for unloading cargo services, freighting for the factories in My Tho Industrial Zone, Tan Huong Industrial Zone.

Thuan Phong Co., Ltd specializes in producing rice paper, rice noodle, rice vermicelli, fine rice vermicelli, etc... With more than 400 skillful workers, modern processing line and advanced technology. Thuan Phong company always guarantees absolutely food hygiene and safety standards. The company can produce and meet all customer's requirements with an output of rice paper more than 2,500 tons/year.
the company was successful in making an automatic drying system for rice paper. The production process of company is under close control by quality control department. At present, the rice paper product of the company has been exported to many countries around the world, including the difficult markets such as Japan, USA, Canada, Australia and some countries in Europe.

Leaders of the two companies also stated many difficulties and problems arising from the operation which needed to be supported by the province including: the renting land in riverside problem to scale up operations to meet the need of stevedoring (My Tho Port jont stock Co); the safety issues  on the prevention of fire and explosion from the petrol stations for many company's factory in industrial zone (Thuan Phong Co., Ltd) ...

Mr Nghia noted the recommendations of the companies and required departments, agencies to consider and suggest the Provincial People’s Committee many suitable solutions with the aim at creating favorable conditions and supporting the development of bussinesses.
