VCCI opens the representative office in Tien Giang

On December 23, The branch of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cantho (VCCI Cantho) opened the representative office in Tien Giang. Standing Vice Chairwoman of People’s Committee of Tien Giang Tran Kim Mai attended the opening ceremony.

VCCI Cantho has activities throughout 13 provinces and Mekong Delta regions with major functions such as: Improving the business environment in order to enhance the the provinces’s competitiveness through the construction of the database materials for the studying of economics and international economic integration; promoting trade, investing and tourism in the region, as a bridge between enterprises in searching for business opportunities; certificating of origin for export enterprises...

The opening representative office in Tien Giang of VCCI meets the practical need of businesses in the province. Deputy Director of VCCI Cantho Nguyen Huu De, was appointed Head of Representative Office of VCCI Cantho in Tien Giang.

On this occasion, VCCI Cantho held a mini workshop with the following contents: Mekong Delta Economic Review 2014, the opportunities and challenges of seafood export sector; the way to build and brand marketing for Vietnam products and business strategies of the export enterprises in the integration period.
