Tigifood exported to 44 countries and territories

Deputy director of Tien Giang Food Company (Tigifood) Le Thanh Khiem said that in 2014, the company's rice was sold to 44 countries and territories; which accounted for over 32% of Asia, the Middle East accounted for over 27%, the Americas accounted for over 12%.

The structure of rice exports accounted for over 30% of fragrant rice, the average rice accounted for over 28%, the lower level rice accounted for nearly 27%. In 2014, the total rice output reached 163,740 tons which was sold by Tigifood, including 83,361 tons for export.

With the advantage of rice production and processing in advanced production lines with electronic color separation system in accordance with food safety, many brands of Tigifood rice were liked by consumers as: Flamingo, Nine golden Dragon, etc…

Tigifood is also the only enterprise in the province and national food industry achieved honor national brand and is one of 23 outstanding enterprises nationwide achieved consecutively this noble title four times.
