Red-fleshed dragon fruit rises by 75,000 VND per kilogram

According to director of a company specialized in purchasing supply and exporting dragon fruit, only within the last few days, prices of red-flesh dragon fruit has risen drastically.

Traders have agreed to buy the fruit (type I) at 75,000 VND per kilogram at the farms; the fruit (type II) also has been at 65,000 VND per kilogram. Meanwhile, prices of the white-fleshed dragon fruit in the Lunar New Year, which also fluctuated between 18,000 VND and 20,000 VND per kilogram.

Recently, prices of dragon fruit always fluctuated. Prices also rose rapidly as well as decreased drastically. The main reason led to instable prices of dragon is the mainly influence of Chinese market.

In the past years, China has been the largest consumer fresh dragon fruit of Vietnam. If this market fluctuated, price of dragon fruit in Vietnam would be influenced immediately.
