Mekong Delta Trade and Industrial Fair kicked off

The Mekong Delta Trade and Industrial Fair 2015 was kicked off at Xa No Park, Vi Thanh city, in the southern province of Hau Giang on June 14.

The event was organised by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Hau Giang provincial People’s Committee.

The week-long fair features more than 300 promotional booths by local businesses from 21 provinces and cities in the southern province.

The booths display major industrial products, transport vehicles, footwear, handicraft, cosmetics, and processed foods.

The fair is a prime opportunity for participating businesses to promote their products to consumers and strengthen trade ties with partners, contributing to opening co-operation and investment opportunities for businesses, stated Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Tran Tuan Anh.

On the occasion of the launch of the event, participating businesses presented VND 15 billion to Hau Giang province’s Social Security Fund.
