100 start-up entrepreneurs honoured

One hundred outstanding young entrepreneurs were honoured for their successful start-up businesses in 2015 at a ceremony in Hanoi on August 9.

At the ceremony, 100 young entrepreneurs across the country were honoured for their excellent business performance and commitment to society over the last year. From that list, 10 outstanding entrepreneurs were chosen as the top 10 best young entrepreneurs.

From the beginning of this year, total revenue from the businesses run by these 100 young entrepreneurs has reached over VND9 trillion (over US$410 million).

 

They have contributed nearly VND100 billion to the State budget and created jobs for about 16,000 employees.

 

Co-organised by the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, the event aimed to honour young entrepreneurs who have made many outstanding achievements in business operations, job creation and social contributions.
