Leader of province receives the delegation of Zhejiang province

On the survey of seeking investment opportunities in Long Giang Industrial Park, the high-level delegation from Zhejiang province, China has just had a work with the leaders of Tien Giang province on September 22. 

 

The delegation led by Chairwoman of Political Consultative Committee of Zhejiang Province Kieu Truyen Tu. Members of political consultative, Foreign Affairs and Overseas Department of Zhejiang and Zhejiang Travel Deparment attended.

 

Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Khang and leaders of many provincial deparments, industries welcomed the Zhejiang delegation.

At the meeting, Chairman of PPC Nguyen Van Khang expressed his pleasure to welcome the visit of the high-level delegation from Zhejiang province and introduced an overview of the economic situation of the society, the potential and advantages of Tien Giang.

In addition to the relationships in the fields of investment attraction and export – import between Tien Giang and China, Tien Giang has had 17 projects invested by China with total registered capital about USD 283.66 million. The export turnover in 2014 from Tien Giang province to China reached USD 126.5 million with major items such as: rice, seafood, garments, fruits.

Chairwoman of Political Consultative Committee of Zhejiang province Kieu Truyen Tu thanked for warmly welcome of Tien Giang leaders.The delegation surveyed Long Giang Industrial Park before Zhejiang province invested in here.

 

Through working with the Management Board of Long Giang Industrial Park, she was very excited about the investment policy of Tien Giang province as well as praised the investment environment of Tien Giang.

 

At the meeting, two provinces also discussed organizing investment promotion delegations that two sides interested in economic and tourism.
