Phu Kiet commune is proclaimed the new rural commune

Phu Kiet commune has just proclaimed the new rural commune by Cho Gao district People’s Committee and The Provincial Standing Steering Committee for National Targeted Program to build new rural areas.

 

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Tien Giang People’s Committee Mr Nguyen Van Khang, Vice Chairman of the Tien Giang People’s Committee Le Van Nghia attended.

 

Chairman of Tien Giang People's Committee Nguyen Van Khang and Vice Chairman of Tien Giang People's Committee Le Van Nghia handed over the Recognition and the welfare work worth VND1 billion.

Phu Kiet commune was selected to build the new rural commune in 2011 with only 9 standards among 19 standards. After 4 years of implementing the National Targeted Program to build new ruaral areas, Phu Kiet commune has got many obvious achievements, including 19 standards of the new rural commune, etc…

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of Tien Giang People's Committee Nguyen Van Khang praised Phu Kiet commune’s results through more four years of building new rural. He also asked Phu Kiet commune to maintain and promote results achieved, to strengthen and improve the quality of criteria more completely. 

 

Cho Gao district Party Committee and People’s Committee, Phu Kiet commune should utilize and improve the potential of local resources as well as maintain the quality of growth to participate in restructuring of agricultural production in a sustainable way to raise gradually agricultural workers’s income.
