Preliminary wrap-up report of socio-economic assignment in past nine months of 2015

On October 7, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to assess preliminary wrap-up report of socioeconomic assignment in past nine months of 2015 and put forward the key tasks in the remaining months.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Khang chaired this conference. Vice Standing Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Kim Mai, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Nghia, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Duc co-chaired the conference.

In past nine months of 2015, despite of many difficulties in development, the socioeconomic situation of province continued to be stable and got positive changes. The province’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew at an estimated 8.7% in the past nine months of 2015. The structure of economic continued to shift in the right direction, the index of industrial production grew by 18.9%, reached 77% of target. Total revenues in past 9 months increased 25.3%, higher than the same period last year. The activities of culture and society continued to be positive changes. The security situation, social safety and order are stable and maintained.
 
However, the disbursement and payment of capital construction investment in past 9 months in the province reached 59.8%, lower than the plan. The capital invested in 2015 only met 50% the demand of capital requirements for works and projects. Besides, some works still met with difficulties in clearance space making slow progress and the total investment in the province.
 
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Khang noted that the levels and sectors should hold to check many targets, tasks and focus to accelerate implementation, disbursement of funds as well as to promote collaboration between all levels and departments in resolving arising cases. At the same time, it is needed to implement management and operating budget funds, to prevent flood and disease proactively, to focuse on attracting investment and strengthening security defense in the local.
