2015 Vietnam Expo to open in Ho Chi Minh City next month

A total of 320 domestic and foreign exhibitors will join the 2015 Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo), scheduled to be held in Ho Chi Minh City from December 2-5.

Covering an area of 5,000 sq.m, the exhibition is expected to attract more than 350 booths from around 320 enterprises from 20 countries and territories, including Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, the Czech Republic, Chinese Taipei, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand among others.

In addition to areas showcasing machines, electronic products and food and beverages, this year’s fair includes a space for booths to promote investment in the industrial sector. Information about industrial zones and their preferential policies for investors are available to visitors.

The event, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, is expected to draw the attendance of around 20,000 visitors.

The annual Vietnam Expo has gradually confirmed its important role in linking Vietnamese and international economic and trade organisations, opening up opportunities to intensify exports, trade exchanges, investment and technology transfers.
