Ten-month budget revenue meets nearly 86%% of year's estimate

Total state budget collection reached VND777 trillion over the past ten months, 85.3% of 2015’s estimate or a year-on-year rise of 6.3%, reported the Ministry of Finance.

Of this, domestic collection was estimated at VND578 trillion, 90.5% of the year’s estimate or up 16.2% over a year earlier with many items fulfilling the year’s estimate such as environmental protection tax (158.3%), tax for using agricultural land (133.3%), collections from housing and land (128.9%) and registration fees (115.6%).

Revenue from export-import activities posted VND209 trillion, 80.5% of the year’s estimate, or approximate to that of the same period last year.

Notably, collection from crude oil only reached about VND55.5 trillion, about 60% of the year’s estimate or down 37.7% over a year earlier.

Meanwhile, budget spending in the ten months reached over VND918 trillion, 80.1% of the year’s estimate or a year-on-year rise of 7.4%.

Specifically, spending for debt and aid represented a year-on-year rise of 10.3% at VND127 trillion. The spending ensured sufficient and timely payment for engaged debts, said the ministry.

The budget deficit in the ten months totaled VND141.4 trillion, equivalent to 62.6% of the rate decided by the National Assembly in the beginning of the year.
