The turnover of Tien Giang's good exports reach over USD 1.6 billion in 2015

According to Tien Giang Department of Industry and Trade, the turnover of this province’s good exports reach over USD 1.6 billion in the fist eleven months, which is completed the year’s target in 2015 before a deadline.

The above result shows that the provincial policy of attracting investment and trade promotion are effective, creating conditions for businesses to promote dynamism in manufacturing, trading and dominating export. Many major commodities exports of the province accelerate. Garments exports gets over 87,500 million units to earn over USD 335 million, an increase of nearly 1.4 times in volume and nearly 20 percent in quantity over the same period in 2014. Vegetables exportes reachs nearly 6,500 tonnes, up to VND 9.5 million, an increase of 10 percent in volume, over 43 percent in quantity over the same period last year.

The province’s market export has currently expanded to 145 countries and territories around the world through the promotion of trade policy in past years. In particular, market exports to countries in America in period of 2011-2015 has been the most powerful increase, reaching an increase in average of 47.5 percent per year.
