Go Dang Seafood Co.,Ltd has three fish processing factories exported to the U.S.A

On March 9, The Food Safety and Inspection Service under the U.S.A Department of Agriculture (FSIS) has considered and recognized additionally 22 fish processing factories of Vietnam to the list of enterprises abroad to be allowed to process fishes belonging to Siluriformes fish family for export to the U.S.A.

Go Dang Seafood Co., Ltd is one of 22 factories announced this time with three factories, including in two factories at Plot 25, My Tho Industrial cluster and Ben Tre factory. .

Earlier on March 3, there wrere twenty-three factories recognized by FSIS, raising of the total number of factories in Vietnam recognized by the U.S.A as forty-five factories.

According to the monitoring program of catfish imported into the U.S.A market, from March 1, 2016, all of fishes belonging to Siluriformes fish, including catfish and Pangasius in Vietnam would be under the jurisdiction of the FSIS’s supervision. From this time also began the conversion period of eightteen months for the producers in the U.S.A and abroad.

During the conversion period, FSIS would conduct monitoring and sampling re-randomized to the assessment of type and chemical residues in imported consignment of fish. After this time, the country wanted to continue exporting these products to the U.S.A had to apply for consideration similar standards.

The country submitted profile fully to demonstrate similarities standards on time for eighteen  months would be to continue to export to the U.S.A while FSIS conducted a full assessment, including actual inspection at the place of farming and production in that country.
