Chairman of the PPC inspects building new rural

On April 11, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong inspeted building new rural in Ngu Hiep commune of Cai Lay district and My Phuoc Tay commune of Cai Lay town.

According to leader of Ngu Hiep commune, this commune has achieved 15 out of 19 set criteria. Those criteria have yet completed such as electricity network, school, culture infrastructure and market. The most difficult is the investment capital to upgrade Ngu Hiep 2 Primary School to meet national standard and a market in center of commune.

Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong said that the province will support Cai Lay district to invest as well as upgrade market and school but it is need to improve procedures early and accelerate the construction.
Ngu Hiep commune continued to mobilize people to renovate their houses and protect the environment.

At the working session with My Phuoc Tay commune, this commune has not yet completed 4 criteria such as electricity network, culture infrastructure, traffic and income. These projects need capital investment of the province including seven bridges with a total budget of about 7.7 billion VND (traffic criteria).

Chairman of the PPC agreed on investing capital for building seven bridges but functional departments and the town should redefine suitable suitable location. He also required town actively to equip facilities for the works and cultural activities, to reassess social income, etc…

The cordination office of the Provincial Steering Committee for the National Target Program on building new rural needed to inspect regularly.
