Water pipe from mainland to Tan Phu Dong district is launched

On May 21, Tien Giang Water Supply One Member Limited Company  has just launched water pipe from mainland to Tan Phu Dong district.

This event saw Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Huong and leaders of Tan Phu Dong, Go Cong Dong and Go Cong Tay district.

The pipeline made by HDPE plastic with 450 mm diameter and 800 meter length from Long Binh commune of Go Cong Tay district across Cua Tieu river to Tan Phu commune of Tan Phu Dong District.

After finishing, the pipeline will connect to the waterpipe of Dong Tam BOO water plant to Tan Phu Dong district with a capacity of 10,000 cubic meters per day per night to serve about 10,000 households in the commune of Thanh Tri, Long Vinh, Long Binh district of Go Cong Tay district and 12,000 households in Tan Phu Dong district.

This is an important turning point for the water supply industry of Tien Giang to solve definitively difficulty in the dry season water existed for many past yeard in Tan Phu Dong isles district.
