Tan Phuoc winged jam gets record price

Farmers in Tan Phuoc district are excited for harvesting a bumper crop winged jam with record price. At present, traders are willing to pay VND 14,000-VND 15,000 per kg.

 

With this price, after deducting production costs, grower gain more than VND 100 million per a hectare.

According winged yam growers said winged yam prices rising by a record officers entered the late-season potato, scarcity of goods, plus a choice of seed popatoes demand in the next season rise.

Tan Phuoc district has recently had more than 400 hectares of winged jam planted in Thanh Hung commune, Tan Hoa Dong commune, Thanh Hoa commune, Thanh My commune, etc… If being growing well, a hectare of winged jam gets an average yield from 15 to 18 tonnes per hectare.

 

Winged jam has determined as the main plant variety of Tan Phuoc district, contributing on eliminating hunger and reducing poverty efficiently.
