Meeting for Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day

On October 13, the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) organized a meeting for Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13). Deputy Chairman Le Van Nghia and representatives of provincial departments and agencies as well as more than 150 enterprises attended.

According to Tien Giang Department of Planning - Investment, in past nine months, enterprises and entrepreneurs in the province have had many attempt, dynamic, creation so that productive business activities continues stability and development, contributing significantly to the process of socioeconomic development of the province. Thus, the economic growth rate of province gets 7.8 percent, the value of industrial production increased by 19.1 percent, the export turnover continues to grow fairly, reaching USD1,5 billion, etc...

Besides, in past nine months, the province has 409 businesses registered to establish with total registered capital of 2,781.1 billion VND, increased of 2.3 percent on the number of new established enterprises in comparision with the same period. Thus, there are 6,177 businesses with total registered capital of 54,246 billion VND.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the PPC Le Van Nghia appreciated the strong growth of enterprises and entrepreneurs of the province in recent years. In the coming period, in order to create favorable conditions better for developing businesses and building thriving entrepreneurs force, PPC will continue to focus on directing and administering strongly the improvements of investment and trading enviroment; to learn directly, grasp the intricacies and difficulties, together with businesses to solve, to promote and support enterprises to develop.
 
He also suggested that businesses and entrepreneurs constantly improve the level of management, competitiveness, solidarity and cooperation to create synergy; furtherly expand business relations, cooperation, collaboration, help to develop, etc…
