Prices may kind of fruits goes up

Prices of many fruits such as durian, dragon fruit and rambutan has surged lately. Specifically, the selling price of Mongthong durian at the market increased by 15,000 VND-20,000 VND per a kilogram, currently fluctuating from 60,000 VND-70,000 VND per kilogram (type I) and 45,000 VND-55,000 VND per kilogram (type II).

Rambutan also increased by 12,000 VND per kilogram, fluctuating from 30,000 VND-33,000 VND per kilogram. 

Red flesh dragon fruit increased by 15,000 VND-20,000 VND per kilogram, fluctuating from 47,000 VND-50,000 VND per kilogram (type I) and from 35,000 VND-40,000 VND per kilogram (type II). Soursop also increased by 5,000 VND per kilogramg fluctuating from 35000 VND-40,000 VND per kilogram (type I) and from 25,000 VND-30,000 VND per kilogramg (type II).

 

According to the Quality Management Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (under Department of Agriculture and Rural Development), many kind of  fruits has surged lately  because of the raniny season as well as the less yield. Besides, prices of many kind of vegetables (harvesting leaves, roots and fruits) also increased by 2,000 VND-5,000 VND per kilogram because of rainy season and the less yield. There is only fishery product and seed of plants remaining stable price.
