Mekong delta Agricultural Trade Fair-Tien Giang 2016 attracts 115 enterprises participated

Tien Giang Investment-Trade-Tourism Promotion Center in collaboration with My Tho city People’s Committee held Mekong delta Agricultural Trade Fair-Tien Giang 2016 from December 23 to January 1, 2017.

 

Attending the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Nguyen Van Danh, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Nghia and leaders of provincial departments as well as leaders of My Tho city Party Committee, My Tho People's Committee, etc... attended this event.

The fair attracted 115 inside and outside province enterprises participated with 240 showcases. Goods exhibited at the fair were diversified and plentiful including food, machines and equipment for agricultural development, seeds, furniture, handicrafts, etc ...

The fair also had many practical significance programs such as presenting gifts for the poor and disadvantaged people, exchanges between businesses and consumers, the discounts and presenting gifts of businesses to promote products to stimulate consumer’s demand.

 

In particular, within the framework of this fair, Tien Giang Food Company will hold a ceremony to announce TIGIFOOD safe rice brand with a new system to identify the company on the evening of December 26.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee sai that Mekong delta Agricultural Trade Fair-Tien Giang 2016 is a good opportunity for companies participated to promote and sell their products to consumers as well as creating favorable conditions for people to approach good quality products with reasonable price.

Through participation in the fair, companies will have opportunities to exchange experiences and improve competitiveness, seeking business cooperation partners and expanding market.  

Mekong delta Agricultural Trade Fair-Tien Giang 2016 will run until January 1, 2017.
