More than 377.5 billion VND to store and supply goods for Lunar New Year

According to the plan No. 276/KH-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee dated on December 2, 2016 on reserving and supplying essential goods for Lunar New Year goods 2017, the province has 7 enterprises participated including Tien Giang-Sai Gon Co. Ltd (My Tho Co-op Mart), Ward 1 commercial services cooperative, Tien Giang Food company, Thanh Phat Trading & Service Private Enterprise, Vinh Kim cooperative, Song Thuan Trading & Service cooperative and the branch of Ho Chi Minh city Trade Union cooperative (Go Cong Co-op Mart).

The total value of capital that businesses to store and supply goods for Lunar New Year is over 377.5 billion VND, increasing 31.9 billion VND in comparision by Lunar New Year 2016. Essential goods are 44 billion VND with items including rice, sugar, cooking oil, beef cattle and poultry. Businesses participated in storing and supplying goods for Tet under plan also are considered to loan with preferential interest rates from commercial banks in the province. Accordingly, 4 businesses suggested to loan during 4 months with a total amount of loan as 27.5 billion VND.

As planned, the storage, supply goods for Dinh Dau Tet 2017 aims at to provide timely goods as well as full of essential food for need of people’s consumption on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, especially priority over storing, supplying Vietnam good in oder to contribute to the implementation of policies to stabilize market prices and ensure social security.
 
Enterprises participated in the price stabilisation programme have to ensure adequate supply of essential goods, quality, safety and reasonable prices, especially at times of rising commodity prices, simultaneously encouraging businesses to sell at price lower than 5% or more in comparision with the same type of goods at the time of subscription prices. Business must have at least 1 stabilized price point to retail goods for Lunar New Year registered with the Department of Trade and hang banner before the door or place for selling goods belong to stabilisation programme, etc…
