Industrial production index in the first eight months increased by 16.8%

According to statistics of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee, the industrial production index of the province in the first eight months increased by 16.8% in comparision with the same period, including: processing industry increased  by17.4%; water supply, waste management and treatment, wastewater disposal increased by 4.7%; production, distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning increased by 10.1%.

There are 34/40 industrial products with increased production index increased  in comparision with the same period such as: meat or poultry meat processing machinery increased by 87.5%; combine harvesters increased by 50%; bottled beer increased 33.8%, etc ... There are 6/40 industrial products with production index decreased as compared with the same period such as: the control and transmission components decreased by 98.4%; big boats fell 59.6%, etc ...

Inventory index of processing industry in August 2017 increased by 19.7% over the previous month and down 33.8% in comparision with the same period. Some sectors with high inventory index over the previous month including seafood processing increased by 41.1%, feed and fishery production increased by 49.5%, fiber production increased by13.8%. In addition, there were some industries with decreasing inventory as compared to last month including brewing decreased by 12.3%, metal production decreased by 12.2%, electrical equipment production decreased by 150.7%. ..
