Chairman of the PPC cheks the progress of new rural construction

On November 20, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong checked the progress of the new rural construction criteria in My Trung commune, Hau My Trinh commune of Cai Be district and Tan Ly Tay commune of Chau Thanh district.

Accordingly, localities reported on the progress of implementation of the criteria, at the same time, there were difficulties in fulfilling the criteria. In three communes where the delegation came to check, the criteria of transportation in the localities were not completed. In particular, the adverse weather was one of the causes leading to slow progress.

For the sixth criterion on cultural facilities, the culture houses of My Trung and Tan Ly Tay have not yet been completed. To meet the rate of progress, localities are urgently building. On the electricity criteria, localities are also trying to complete.

Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong requested that the construction of communal houses must be completed until December 20. For transportation criteria, localities had to work with contractors to accelerate the progress of works.
