Three typical agricultural products of Tien Giang province honored

The Vietnam Farmer's Union has just organized the ceremony to honor the typical agricultural products in 2016. This is the 4th year of the ceremony for honoring the typical agricultural products is organized.

On this occasion, Tien Giang province has three outstanding agricultural products honoured at the ceremony including Hoa Loc Mango (of Hoa Loc Cooperative), Ngu Hiep Durian (of Ngu Hiep Durian Cooperative), Go Cong Chicken (of Go Cong Fishery and Aquaculture Cooperative). These products were selected and nominated by the Tien Giang province Farmers' Association, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Health.

Through the program, Tien Giang has the opportunity to promote typical agricultural products to enterprises, cooperatives and farmers in all regions of the country. This is also a step forward and promising for the agricultural sector of the province.

The ceremony of honoring typical agricultural products organized by the Central Farmer's Association annually aims at honouring the typical agricultural products of organizations, individuals and especially farmers throughout the country; contributing to improving the value and creating opportunities to promote agricultural products to enterprises, cooperatives in and outside the country.
