Tan Phu Dong district has had more than 900 hectares of soupsop concentrated in Tan Phu commune, Tan Thoi commune, etc… Currently, Tan Thanh commune has a pioneer facility for tea production from soursop as Vinh Phat establishment. Although the scale of production is not large, this kind of tea is receiving positive signals from the market.
In order to create the tea from soursop fruit, Vinh Phat establishment has invested a one-way closed system to ensure food hygiene and safety. First, soursop fruit is washed and then sterilized by ozone scrubbers. After completing this step, soursop fruit will be picked out and drained. Completing the separation of the seeds, soursop fruit will be put into the machine for chopping. Next, the chopped piece of soursop will be put into the oven for about 4-5 hours, then continuing to dry until yellow. Completing this process is to give the finished tea soursop product. Soursop tea will be put into the bag by hand for packing.
To diversify product, Vinh Phat establishment has also invested in the five-in-0ne soursop tea production system. When completing the necessary procedures, the system promises to bring a new kind of product to raise the competitiveness in the market. Nguyen Thi Bay, the owner of Vinh Phat Soursop Tea establishment said: "Currently, the establishment has registered its trademark at the Department of Science and Technology. In the coming time, when the evaluation of the tea bag production system is completed, the facility will go into production of this product kind."

Currently, the consumption market of soursop tea mainly in My Tho city and Ho Chi Minh city and it has been also exported to some countries in the world. According to the Vinh Phat establishment, there are more and more people to looking for this tea and the market is expanding. The establishment has just signed a contract to supply products for Vinmart supermarket. In addition, partners from the UEA, Korea, Canada, etc ... also came to establishment many times for survey.
Mohamed Sulaiman, a business center at UEA, said that he is pleased with the production process and quality of soursop tea. In the near future, he will bring soursop for sale in the country as well as countries in the Middle East.
