Hau My Trinh commune is recognized as the new rural commune

ABO - On February 24, Hau My Trinh commune has just been proclaimed the new rural commune by Gò Công Dong district People’s Committee and the Provincial Standing Steering Committee for National Targeted Program to build new rural areas.

After 6 years of implementing the national target program on building new rural areas, the infrastructure of Hau My Trinh commune has been renovated to meet the requirements of the socio-economic development.

The commune People Committee mobilized people to boost production, change the structure of plants and animals and develop the household economy. In particular, the commune focused on production planning in the direction of linking, promoting the effectiveness of the large field, encouraging people to select specialty rice varieties as the main force…

Thanks to those solutions, the life of people has been improved remarkably, the rate of poor households has been reduced to 2.99%; the per capita income now is VND40,2 million per month,; the cultural life of people has been improved; 78% of people use clean water; security situation maintained, etc…

On this occasion, the People's Committee of province, district and commune presented many certificates of merit to the collectives and individuals who have contributed to the construction of new rural area.
