Staring many important projects on the beginning of New Year

ABO - In the early days of 2018, many important projects of the province such as the project of the Ceremony Ground –the Provincial Center Square, the Tien Giang General Hospital, the My Tho city Trade - Service Zone, etc... have officially started, promising to create more points for the My Tho city in particular and the province in general.

1. One of the first highlights is the project of the Ceremony Ground –the Provincial Center Square officially broken ground on February 7. This is the first component project to be implemented in the Provincial Center Square, which is the place where important activities of the province organized. It is a space for people to have community activities, playing and entertainment; at the same time, it is the premise to launch the remaining projects of the Provincial Center Square.

The project of the Ceremony Ground with an area of 3.66 hectares including the items: the pitch can accommodate about 13,000 people; trees, lawns; sprinkler system on the yard at the center of the ground; seats and other auxiliary items. Total investment for this project is more than 84 VND billion from the provincial budget, with a construction period of 8 months (expected completion on October 30, 2018).

The Provincial Center Square is very much expected by the people in the province to create recreation spots and community activities. According to Deputy Director of the Management Board of Civil and Industrial Construction Project Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong, the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee is approved the detailed plan in 2012 to serve the spiritual life for the people, including component projects such as: the Ceremony Ground, the Memorial Uncle Ho and Temple of the Hung King, the Children's House, the Library, the Museum, the Cultural Center, etc ...

2. On the occasion of Lunar New Year, hundreds of workers are busy on the construction site of the My Tho city Trade - Service Zone (belonging to Nguyen Kim Group) at 545, Le Van Pham street, Ward 5, My Tho city.

According to information from the construction unit, there are currently about 270 to 280 employees, workers working on this site. According to Director of the project Le Duc Huy, the construction progress is being implemented by the construction units and expected to complete flooring for floor 2 until to leave fo the Lunar New Year.

"With the current construction progress, it is expected that until April 30, 2018, the project will basically complete as the commitment of the investor with the Provincial People's Committee," Huy said.
The My Tho city Trade - Service Zone was started on September 16, 2015 with a total area of over 18,000 square meters, of which 70,000 square meters of floor area with 12 floors and 1 basement, height of over 55 meter.

This is the supermarket of self choice, shopping electronics, fashion, high-grade cosmetics, furniture; along with entertainment areas, buffet cuisine, restaurants, children's entertainment; the complex with offices for rent and serviced apartments for rent, etc ... Total investment budget is initially estimated at VND835 billion. Thus, with the promotion of construction works, the people of My Tho city and neighboring areas will have more modern shopping opportunities.
