The My Tho-Ben Tre-Vung Tau high-speed train opened

On the morning of January 28, Greenlines DP company officially opened and put into operation the My Tho-Ben Tre-Vung Tau high-speed train route.

At the opening ceremony, General Director of Greenline DP Tran Song Hai said that the My Tho-Ben Tre-Vung Tau high-speed train route takes only 2 hours 15 minutes with the price of VND290,000. On the occasion of its inauguration, the company offered 50% discount on the first 10 days (from January 28 to February 6).

Greenlines DP has prepared 8 vessels, including 3 C50 vessels, 2 K96 vessels, 1 C132 vessel and 2 RIB vessels to ensure there is no shortage of service facilities from Ben Tre, Tien Giang to Vung Tau and vice versa. Means of transport passenger include 2 types 96 seats and 132 seats. As expected, the frequency of operation of high speed train is 4 trips per day (including starting and ending).

Deputy Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Duc and Deputy Chairman of the Ben Tre provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Lap were delighted because the company has invested in high-speed passenger transportation to contribute to socio-economic development of the locality.
