This Tet holiday, our base offers more than 70 kinds of jams. This year, the consumption of cakes and jams in the domestic market is lower than last year, so the base stops production more than any other year.”

At this point, the atmosphere of shopping at the supermarkets is busy. Duong Minh Chau, Director of Go Cong Coopmart said that the purchasing power for Tet has increased, of which the bakery and jam are consuming strongly. This year, supermarket expects the growth of Tet holiday will be 5% - 7%.

Along with the food items, Tet decoration market is also "hot" up. Many items have "gone down” the roads to make Tet market more vibrant and colorful. In general, decorations of Tet this year are still familiar products such as: “Happy New Year” line, cloth flowers, yellow apricot, red parallel sentences, etc ...

On the occasion of Tet, due to the risk of fake goods and fraud goods mixed easily happens so the province has opened the anti-smuggling, trade fraud height to control the market.

By this time, the Provincial Department of Market Management has conducted 156 inspections, discovered 38 violations, processed 32 cases including violations such as false food without use value, no certificate of food safety (FDA), no certificate of business registration, etc...

In addition, the safety of food safety during the Tet holiday is also special concerned. The Provincial Steering Committee for Food Safety and Hygiene has issued the plan "To inspect food safety and hygiene on the Mau Tuat Lunar New Year and the Spring Festival season 2018".

Director of the Provincial Department of Market Management Do Van Phuoc said: "In the past days, Sub-Department has promoted the activities of inspection, market control, food safety inspection. Through the market control activities, up to now, the department has not detected cases of food safety or unknown origin seriously.”
